Greater Hall Chamber HR Academy on November 3, 4
Workshop to Assist Human Resource Managers
The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce announces its HR Academy on Tuesday, November 3 and Wednesday, November 4 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Lanier Technical College Manufacturing Development Center, 999 Chestnut Street in Gainesville. Conducted by Fisher and Phillps, Attorneys at Law, the workshop will feature eight different modules:
1) Recruiting and Hiring Employees
2) Compliance with Wage and Hour Laws
3) Unlawful Discrimination, Harassment & Retaliation
4) Safety—Avoiding OSHA Citations
5) Performance Reviews, Discipline and Termination
6) Managing Leaves of Absences
7) Immigration and I-9 Compliance
8) What To Do When The Government Knocks
