Human Technologies, Inc. Awarded ISO Certification!
Greenville, SC – January 28, 2013
This past December, Human Technologies, Inc. was awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification. ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system in which an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide a service that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the systems. Knowing that implementing these standards would improve the efficiency and effectiveness of company operations, employees at every level of the company worked tirelessly to conduct internal audits and customer satisfaction surveys, offer improvements to processes, and further standardize the level of service offered to their clients.
"The endeavor of preparing for our ISO certification began toward the end of 2011. We had a great time preparing our associates and aligning our departments with the fundamentals of the ISO requirements. We engaged our employees in activities like company-wide training, ISO Jeopardy, flash cards, etc. It was a lot of fun and our employees certainly embraced the challenge!
"Having a customer base that is largely comprised of automotive manufacturers, Human Technologies recognizes the value in attaining the ISO 9001:2008 certification and the improvements and impact it can have on our internal processes and the services provided to our customers. In addition, our ISO registration opens up additional business opportunities for HTI with companies that require suppliers to be certified. We are very excited and proud to receive this certification and we look forward to working with even more companies in the Upstate and beyond," says Leisa Hulme, Director of Quality.
Human Technologies, Inc. has 9 office locations across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Mississippi. For more information about HTI, please visit www.htijobs.com.
